PAUL MEDVED

SENIOR PASTOR

Paul Medved became the Senior Pastor of River of Grace Church in July 2009. He holds a B.A. in Bible/Theology from Barclay College and an M.A. in Christian Thought: Systematic Theology and Church History from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. Paul is particularly interested in Reformation and Puritan History and Theology. Paul also loves the outdoors, particularly hiking, fishing, & turkey hunting.

Paul is the husband of Lisa, Dean of Students at Prairie Winds Elementary, and the father of two children, Abigail and Caleb. He can be contacted at 719-647-9686.

LARRY COLE

PASTOR OF MISSION & OUTREACH

Larry Cole (with his wife Erica) has been by Paul’s side since 2009. Larry grew up on the mission field in Papua New Guinea. After marrying Erica, the couple continued to serve on the same field with a different tribe. Larry is currently the Mission Team Lead. Larry’s experience has been indespensible at River of Grace Church. Larry has served as Lay Elder since 2017, and recently took the specific role, Pastor of Mission & Outreach.

Larry is the husband of Erica, and the couple has five grown children – Jeremy, Kevin, Laura, Matthew, & Michael.

TIM LANCELOT

PASTOR OF CONGREGATIONAL CARE

Tim Lancelot (with his wife Molly) was a Charter Member of River of Grace Church at it’s founding in 2003. Tim has served the church faithfully since the beginning, leading Bible studies, participating in relief trips, and volunteering anytime there is a need. In 2017, Tim was called to serve the church as Lay Elder, a role he has continued in to the present. Recently, Tim has taken the specific role, Pastor of Congregational Care. Tim and his Team will follow up with congregants who have missed services, contact visitors, train others for home and hospital visitation, and more.

Tim is the husband of Molly, and they have three grown children – Evan, Sam, & Grace.

CHRIS CARTER

PASTOR OF BIBLICAL COUNSELING

Chris Carter has provided counseling for River of Grace Church for nearly fifteen years. In 2003, Chris began counseling on-site, and in 2025 Chris became the newest Elder at River of Grace Church. Chris’ ministry experience is extensive, having served in counseling ministry, youth and college ministry, pastoral ministry, as well as serving with the Navigators.
