FIDELITAS YOUTH

What is Fidelitas?
Welcome to Fidelitas! Fidelitas is Latin for “faithfulness”. The purpose of Fideitas is to lead youth ages 12-18 to know Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, to grow in their knowledge and love of our Triune God, and to become faithful, mature, and godly men and women.

What We Do
Study: Youth will participate in a Bible or book study every week. We have high expectations of young men and women, so our studies are challenging. We expect youth at River of Grace Church to know the Gospel, be familiar with the Bible, be established in historic Christian doctrine, and to be growing in character.
Serve: Serving others is expected of every Christian and youth are no exception. Youth will participate in one Service Project every month. Service Projects are wide ranging and include everything from splitting wood and home repair to shoebox packing for Operations Christmas Child. There will be opportunities to volunteer at local ministries and mission works, as well as an annual regional mission trip.
Play: Fidelitas youth also like to have fun together, and there is no better way to have fun than to enjoy what God has created. We live in one of the most beautiful places in the country, so every month youth will immerse themselves in this “theater of God’s glory.” We will hike, snowshoe, fish, camp, explore, and much more. These activites will provide time to build relationships, learn, and edify one another.
Disciple: And all of this – Bible study, service, wholesome activity – is the perfect milieu for discipleship. Mature Christian men and women will be part of everything we do, and they will build into the lives of our youth.

Young Adults & Parents
Young men and women over 18 can continue to participate, and parents are urged to join us in Service Projects and Activiities. It is critically important for youth to have older, more mature believers in their lives. And, it is imperative that parents have the strongest possible relationship with their children, for they are their children’s principle disciplers.
