Missions is part of the DNA of our church. Our church began in the fall of 2002 with a home Bible study in the home of Richard & Carmen Payne. In March of 2003 a core group of believers gathered for a worship service and, as they say, the rest is history. Our church was organized as a self-supporting local congregation in October of 2007 and is affiliated with the Baptist Missionary Association of America (BMAA).

Our church supports missions through the BMAA. Our current missions support goes to Bible translation and church planting in Papua New Guinea (Jeremy Hambrice), church planting in Peru (John Michael Poulin), church planting in Bosnia (Jeff Jones), missions in Zambia (Joshua Phiri). Other non-BMAA projects we support include A Caring Pregnancy Center in Pueblo, Operation Christmas Child from Samaritan’s Purse, the New Creation Children’s Home in Nepal, Love in Action Home in Bolivia, and Camp Salvation Bible Camp,

We also have a number of members who have gone on short-term mission trips. River of Grace encourages its members to be active participants in the Great Commission both home and abroad.
Fidelitas youth group is for students ages 10-18.  The group meets every Wednesday at 6:30 pm.  Contact Pat Koonce for more information.  Events are listed on the Calendar.
We take to heart what Scripture says in Psalm 127: 3 that children are a gift from the Lord. We want to help parents in their responsibility in teaching their children. Children 2nd grade and older meets during Sunday School at 8:15 am in Room 3. Infants to 1st grade begin the service with their families in the Auditorium and are dismissed to Children’s Church before the sermon. The children will be engaged with active learning through Bible stories, games, music and more.

Media & Technology

Media plays an important part of our worship service.  If you would like to serve the Lord by operating the sound system or computer, please talk to Micah.

The purpose of the Worship Ministry at River of Grace is to see the nations worship Jesus by listening to His voice, speaking His Word & living a lifestyle of worship. We strive to make every ministry an act of worship. All of our lives should be worship. Romans 12:1 says to present our bodies as a living sacrifice. That means we don’t live for ourselves. Rather, we make it our goal to please the Lord. The music in our worship service is a blend of traditional and contemporary. We don’t want to forsake the hymns because of their depth and richness. We include the contemporary because of its passion and intimacy. We have opportunities for both children and adults to sing, play an instrument or share a reading, a testimony or other acts of worship that can enhance our worship service. For more information about the worship ministry, contact Jason Burns.
